At Engines Outlet, we are committed to providing high-quality used, rebuilt, remanufactured, and JDM engines and transmissions. To give our customers added confidence, many of our products are backed by a limited warranty. Please review the following warranty terms and conditions carefully before purchasing.
Warranty Period
Warranty coverage varies depending on the product purchased and will be specified on your invoice or sales order.

90-Day Limited Warranty
6-Month Limited Warranty
1-Year Limited Warranty
Extended Warranty (Available on Select Products)
The warranty begins on the date the product is delivered.
What Is Covered
Our limited warranty covers defects in the supplied engine or transmission caused by faulty materials or workmanship under normal operating conditions.
Covered components may include:
Used Engines
Engine Block
Cylinder Head
Crankshaft
Connecting Rods
Pistons
Camshaft
Internal Lubricated Parts
Used Transmissions
Transmission Case
Internal Gears
Shafts
Bearings
Internal Lubricated Components
Torque Converter (if included)
If a covered component is found to be defective during the warranty period, Engines Outlet may, at its sole discretion:
Repair the product
Replace the product with an equivalent unit
Issue a refund for the original purchase price (excluding shipping and labor, unless otherwise stated)
Installation Requirements
To maintain warranty eligibility:
Installation must be performed by a licensed or ASE-certified repair facility.
New oil, filters, gaskets, seals, coolant, and recommended fluids must be installed.
Timing components, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, belts, and hoses should be replaced when recommended by the manufacturer.
Transmission cooler and cooling lines must be flushed or replaced before installing a replacement transmission.
Proper programming or calibration must be completed when required.
Failure to follow these installation requirements may void the warranty.
Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for:
Verifying product compatibility before installation.
Inspecting the shipment upon delivery.
Reporting shipping damage immediately.
Maintaining proof of professional installation.
Keeping all maintenance and repair records.
Following the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.
Warranty Claim Process
To submit a warranty claim, customers must provide:
Original Invoice
Warranty Number (if applicable)
Vehicle VIN
Professional Installation Receipt
Diagnostic Report
Photos or Videos (if requested)
Description of the issue
Our technical support team may request additional information before approving a warranty claim.
What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
Labor charges
Shipping charges
Towing expenses
Rental vehicles
Storage fees
Diagnostic charges
Loss of income
Loss of vehicle use
Roadside assistance
Fluids, filters, belts, hoses, gaskets, or seals
Normal wear and tear
Cosmetic damage
Warranty Does Not Apply If
Warranty becomes void if:
Product is improperly installed.
Vehicle is used for racing or competition.
Engine or transmission is modified.
Product is abused or neglected.
Incorrect fluids are used.
Engine overheats.
Oil starvation occurs.
Vehicle is involved in an accident.
Parts are disassembled without authorization.
VIN has been altered or removed.
Shipping Damage
Please inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery.
If damage is noticed:
Note the damage on the delivery receipt.
Take photographs before opening.
Contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Retain all original packaging.
Failure to report shipping damage within the required timeframe may affect your claim.
Returns During Warranty
No product should be returned without prior authorization.
If a return is approved, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued. Returns without an authorized RMA may be refused.
Limitation of Liability
Engines Outlet's liability is limited solely to the repair, replacement, or refund of the purchased product. We shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including labor costs, vehicle downtime, towing, rental vehicles, lost profits, or other related expenses unless required by applicable law.
Warranty Transfer
Unless specifically stated otherwise, the warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser listed on the invoice.
